A People magazine source claims the First Lady’s attention is fixed on her son’s well-being as he navigates college life in the public eye.

Barron Trump spent his formative years at Trump Tower in Manhattan. Throughout, Melania made it a priority to shield him from the media glare and outside scrutiny. Last fall, Barron began his freshman year at Stern. Melania later suggested that the typical campus experience isn’t really possible for her son, given who he is and the attention that follows him.

“I don’t think it’s possible for him to be a normal student. His experience at college — it’s very different than any other kid,”
