Reba McEntire Brings Her Star Power to the Amalfi Coast With Surprise Performances on Luxury Cruise
Country music royalty Reba McEntire recently traded stadium lights for Mediterranean sunsets—yet even on vacation, she couldn’t resist putting on a show.
During a dreamy getaway through southern Italy with longtime love Rex Linn, McEntire delighted fans on the Celebrity Adventures’ Amalfi Coast Cruise by delivering a series of surprise performances that turned this luxury trip into something unforgettable.
A Tambourine, a Yacht, and Reba in Her Element
One fan-captured moment shows Reba casually singing Frankie Valli’s classic “Can’t Take My Eyes Off You” during an intimate evening gathering. With a tambourine in hand and a sparkle in her voice, Reba stood to belt the chorus while Rex, seated beside her, tapped along in perfect rhythm.
Another guest chimed in on tambourine as well, turning the dinner table into a spontaneous jam session that had the feel of a private concert—with Reba as the undisputed headliner.

Beyond the impromptu serenades, McEntire also took to the yacht’s stage in full performance mode—donning a white blazer and a glimmering top—to sing fan favorites like “Back to God” and “Can’t Even Get the Blues.”
It was clear: this wasn’t just a vacation. It was a floating celebration of music, joy, and legendary talent.
A Yacht Worthy of a Queen (of Country)
The 5-night luxury cruise aboard Evrima, the first super yacht from The Ritz-Carlton Yacht Collection, sailed from August 18–24 and toured Rome, Naples, Capri, Amalfi, Positano, and Malta. It was an invite-only affair, filled with celebrity guests and major donors.
Alongside Reba and Rex were icons like Andrea Bocelli, David Foster, Bo Derek, Evander Holyfield, Chris Tucker, and Katharine McPhee, with donations for attendees reportedly ranging from $65,000 to $75,000 per person.
Documenting the Dream
McEntire kept fans in the loop throughout the trip, posting sunny snapshots on Instagram with captions like “#toomuchfun in Italy!” and recounting a “great day” exploring Naples’ National Railway Museum.
From Co-Stars to Soulmates: Reba & Rex’s Love Story
The couple first met back in 1991 on the set of The Gambler Returns: The Luck of the Draw, but it wasn’t until 2020 that they reconnected and began dating.
Since then, they’ve been inseparable—both in life and on screen. They starred together as husband and wife in Big Sky: Deadly Trails and co-led the Lifetime film The Hammer. In Reba’s words, working with Rex is second nature:
“To play husband and wife, it’s natural for us.”
Rex echoed the sentiment, calling her a force of nature:
“She’s like a great white shark. Can’t stop moving or they’ll die in the water. At least that’s what the scientists say,” he joked.
Reba’s Still Got It—On and Off the Stage
Whether performing on a world-class yacht or winking at her real-life partner between takes, Reba McEntire continues to prove why she’s one of country music’s most beloved stars.
And even on vacation, she can still steal the show—tambourine in hand, smile on her face, and heart wide open.
