Riley Green Surprises Fans by Inviting Crowd Members Onstage for Powerful Duets, Including “Jesus Saves”
Country star Riley Green gave fans a night to remember at the York State Fair on Sunday, June 20, when he spontaneously invited two audience members to share the stage—one to sing his heartfelt ballad “Jesus Saves,” and another for a show-stopping duet of “Don’t Mind If I Do.”
A Fan’s Dream Comes True With “Jesus Saves”
The most touching moment of the night came when Green spotted a sign in the front row held by a young man named Logan Chalk, who had one request: to sing “Jesus Saves” with his hero.
“This is one of my favorite songs I’ve ever written,” Green told the crowd. “So we’re gonna give him a little test.”
With a mic passed down into the pit, Chalk delivered a brief preview—and stunned everyone with his vocals.
“Matter of fact, he might’ve been too good, he might have to stay down there,” Green joked. But within moments, he invited Chalk onstage to sing the rest of the song together, creating a powerful and emotional moment that had the crowd erupting in cheers.
Another Fan Joins for “Don’t Mind If I Do”
Later in the show, Green pulled off a second surprise—bringing a young woman from the audience up to sing Ella Langley’s verses in “Don’t Mind If I Do.” A viral TikTok clip shows her confidently belting out the duet with Green, perfectly in sync and earning a wave of applause.
Fans flooded the comments with praise:
“Literally cried for her last night! She killed it.”
“Better than some of the stars he sings with!!”
