    • Carrie Underwood and Keith Urban weren’t on the show. They just showed up, walked up front without the stage lights, and sat next to Ozzy Osbourne’s casket. Their voices trembled during their raw acoustic versions of “Mama, I’m Coming Home” and “The Fighter.” When they finished, no one had a chance to say anything, and Sharon Osbourne was standing there with the microphone, about to break everyone in the room.
    • Luke Bryan was performing “Country Girl (Shake It For Me)” when an object from the crowd hit him square in the face. He looked stunned, paused for a moment, and then continued singing as if nothing had happened. No security personnel intervened, and Bryan’s next move stunned the audience
    • Riley Green had just finished an unforgettable set with Jamey Johnson and Ella Langley when he shocked the crowd by announcing that there was only one more song left, and it was dedicated to his mother. He confessed that she was a huge fan of Johnson’s “High Cost of Living,” and couldn’t finish the night without hearing it. Without hesitation, Jamey Johnson picked up his guitar and began to strum the haunting opening notes as Green proudly watched.
    • Morgan Wallen stood under the spotlight in Seattle and gave 70,000 fans one of the biggest country concerts of the year, but amid the chaos, he did something so personal that no one realized it had happened. With just one hand on his chest and two fingers pointed to the sky, he sent a message that only a few would later understand – a silent tribute to Hulk Hogan, his childhood hero.
    • “Wait… is that who I think it is?” someone whispered, just as the music swelled. What began as a soulful tribute to Johnny Cash turned into a moment of real-life heartbreak played out before thousands. As Keith Urban and Coldplay delivered a stirring rendition of “Hurt,” the kiss cam landed on a couple locked in an emotional kiss—Kristin Cabo and Andy Byron, whose affair was no longer rumor but raw reality. The crowd gasped; whispers turned into a wave of shock. Keith Urban paused mid-chord, visibly shaken, then leaned into the mic and said softly, “Some songs… hit harder than we think.” In that instant, the lyrics weren’t just sung—they came alive. A performance meant to honor pain had become its living embodiment.

    • “The Beard. The Voice. And now… The Puppets?” Chris Stapleton didn’t just appear on Sesame Street—he lit up the stage with soul, confidence, and a magical guitar. Forget the “whiskey-soaked” ballads—this time, he rocked the house with Elmo, Bert, and Ernie, singing a unique anthem, “You’ve Got a Friend in Music,” that turned emotion and sound into fire. Kids SCREAMED. Parents STARED. And Stapleton? He even bounced—yes, bounced—to the beat, flashing a rare smile that could melt granite. Critics called it “the most brilliant crossover since Johnny Cash met the Muppets.” In a surreal, star-studded moment, the King of Country didn’t just share the stage—he belonged to the Street.

Lainey Wilson isn’t in a hurry to marry Devlin Hodges and says it’s payback for making her wait

Lainey Wilson Isn’t Rushing Down the Aisle—And She’s Got Her Reasons

Lainey Wilson is perfectly fine taking her sweet time before tying the knot—and she’s not shy about saying it’s partly in return for how long it took her man to pop the question.

Lainey Wilson Once Joked She Might Be the One to Propose

Back in February, the country star got engaged to longtime boyfriend Devlin “Duck” Hodges. The pair has been together since 2021, though they kept things under wraps until making their red carpet debut at the 2023 ACM Awards.

Duck ultimately proposed on the porch of country legend George Jones’ former Tennessee home—a sentimental spot with extra meaning.

In a previous chat with Kelleigh Bannen, Wilson explained the story behind the setting.

“We’d been wanting to go see it for a while, and one of Duck’s friends had the house listed for sale,” she recalled. “He had it all staged—candles, pictures—everything. My manager Mandelyn and her boyfriend were supposed to meet us there, but they didn’t show. It was just us, and it was beautiful.”

Clearly, Duck nailed the proposal—and the wait turned out to be worth it. Lainey had even joked before that she might have to get down on one knee herself if he didn’t speed things up!

Now Lainey’s Returning the Favor—With a Delay of Her Own

In a recent conversation with Country Living, Lainey revealed she hasn’t jumped into wedding planning just yet—and teased that Duck’s delay in proposing means he’ll now have to wait a little too.

“[Duck] is gonna kill me, but I told him I’m gonna make him wait,” she laughed. “He made me wait four years—I’m gonna make him wait before we start planning this thing.”

All in good fun, of course. Lainey says there’s no rush—they just want to take their time and do it right.

“We haven’t really gotten the ball rolling yet, but we’re taking our time. It’s gonna be perfect, it’s gonna be beautiful, and it’s gonna be about all the right things.”
