After “the SUDDEN death of his son Jerry” – he did not seek the noise of the stage but returned to faith, and from the deepest place in his broken heart, “The Father, My Son, and the Holy Ghost” was born. The first time Craig performed the song at the Grand Ole Opry, the whole audience fell silent and then burst into tears, including Ricky Skaggs – who came to hug him and said: “You must sing again, because THE WORLD NEEDS TO HEAR this.” And the most touching moment was when Blake Shelton – Craig’s “close friend” – suddenly walked to the center of the stage, holding Craig’s hand in silence. Carrie Underwood Shares Adorable Mother’s Day Note from 6-Year-Old Son Jacob

Carrie Underwood’s youngest son, Jacob, may not fully grasp his mom’s superstar status—but he clearly sees her as a superhero in his own world.

To celebrate Mother’s Day, Carrie took to Instagram to share a charming handwritten page Jacob filled out all about his “Mommy.” The fill-in-the-blank style note gave fans a peek into how her son sees her—and the result was as sweet as it was funny.

To Jacob, Carrie Is Simply “Mom”

The paper, titled “Mommy,” is full of precious observations:

    “My mom’s name is Carrie.”

    “She is 42 years old.”

“My mom looks beautiful when all the time.”

“My mom laughs when I tell her funny questions.”

“My mom is really good at pretty much all the stuff.”

“When I am at school my mom does her meetings.”

“The best thing she cooks is pancakes.”

“My favorite thing to do with my mother is snuggle her.”

“If I could buy her a gift I would buy her jewelry.”

“I love my mom more than playing Big Buck Hunter.”

Naturally, fans melted over the note—especially the final line!

A Legacy of Love from One Mom to Another

Carrie, who’s now a loving mother of two, often credits her own mom, Carole, as a major inspiration in her parenting journey. Their close relationship has been highlighted through the years—most notably in Carrie’s emotional ballad “Mama’s Song,” which she wrote as a tribute to Carole. The song’s music video even features her mom, adding to its heartfelt message.

Before the video begins, Carole shares a touching thought:

“You just don’t think when your child is small that in just a few years it’s gonna be completely different… It goes by fast.”
