Her hit song “Born a Woman” came in at number twelve on the Billboard Hot 100 chart in 1966, which resulted in her being nominated for a Grammy.Several of Sandy’s singles, such as “Single Girl” and “What a Woman in Love Won’t Do,” contained elements of both pop and country music.
