According to new claims, Elton John can no longer declare, “I’m Still Standing.”
After over six decades of unparalleled talent, John will live in eternity. However, sources indicate that the 77-year-old celebrity is fighting with his crumbling health, and while he “can hardly move without help,” he is “determined to maintain his larger-than-life image.”

Elton John has had multiple near-death experiences, including one in 2013 when he almost died from appendicitis.
“I was a ticking time bomb.” “I suppose I could have died at any time,” said John, one of dozens of celebrities who hold the renowned EGOT designation.
In 2017, he experienced life-threatening complications after prostate cancer surgery and admitted, “I didn’t really know how close to death I was.” The five-time Grammy winner, aged 72, added, “I felt ill because I kept saying, ‘Please let me get well. “I want to see my children.”

And most recently, the “Nikita” singer announced that he is recovering from partial blindness.
On September 6, in his first public appearance since being left with limited eyesight, John and his 61-year-old husband David Furnish rolled down the red carpet in a bedazzled purple golf cart at the Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF) for the premiere of Elton John: Never Too Late.
The video chronicles John’s decades-long career, from his iconic 1974 Madison Square Garden performance to his final concert at Dodger Stadium in 2022. It also shows intimate scenes between him and Furnish, whom he met in 1993 and married in 2014. Zachary, 13, and Elijah, 11, are the couple’s boys born through surrogacy.
Facing mortality
Despite being immortalized in the industry, the “Can You Feel the Love Tonight” singer recognizes his mortality and shares his son’s concerns about his impending death.
In the film, John remarks about Zachary and Elijah, “They reflect on my mortality. “They are concerned about my mortality.”
Next, referring to Furnish, the boys’ co-parent, John adds, “Not so much David, but me.”
The “Sad Songs” singer goes on to say that Zachary and Elijah “love their daddy, so they want me to be around forever, [and] I would love to be around forever.”
‘Strong like an ox.’
Meanwhile, Furnish claims his famous husband felt “a lot of anxiety” while witnessing scenes related to his death.
“I don’t think you want to have this conversation with your children. “I don’t want to plant that seed in their mind,” Furnish adds of the “Hold Me Closer” vocalist. “Elton has gone through a lot, but he is also as tough as an ox. He rarely cancels shows. He is a powerful man and a healer. He will probably outlive me. “He is just so tough.”
Furnish adds that after 30 years together, the couple is just now “at this moment that we’ve only ever dreamed of.”
However, sources indicate that the “Rocket Man” singer is suffering from a serious health crisis and is seeking to conceal his vulnerability.

According to a source, the custom-made purple cart that John used to ride down the red carpet at TIFF “was to hide” his “reliance on a wheelchair.”
“Elton refuses to be viewed as weak. He is so determined to keep his larger-than-life appearance, but the truth is that he can hardly move without assistance.” The tipster goes on, “He doesn’t know where he’s going half the time.”
“That’s why the golf cart makes sense; it hides the truth from the cameras. Elton’s primary focus now is on securing his legacy. He wants to control the story of his life as an artist, husband, and father before others do it for him!”
Elton John: Never Too Late will begin streaming on Disney+ on December 13, 2024.
