King Charles ‘still very sick’ and facing the ‘inevitable’ – plans for the worst well underway, according to reports

But royal insiders say Charles is “still very sick,” despite his apparent improvement. The palace is preparing for the king’s funeral.

As “death is a possibility” for the 75-year-old cancer patient, Operation Menai Bridge is underway.

Read on to see why king funeral arrangements are crucial!
After Queen Elizabeth II became queen in 1952, Operation London Bridge preparations began.

Her death announcement, sorrow, funeral arrangements, and King Charles III’s ascension were covered in the plan, which had a distinct name.

After the queen died in 2022, the previous Prince of Wales became king after 70 years, becoming the oldest British king.

He wasn’t happy in his new employment for long.

Within a year of his May 2023 coronation, Charles had a “corrective procedure” for benign prostate enlargement in January 2024.

The palace announced that cancer, not pro$tate, was found one month after his procedure in February.

On February 10, 2024, Charles wrote on royal family social media, “I want to give a huge thank you for all the supportive messages and well wishes. Anyone impacted by cancer knows that good words bring the most comfort and motivation.”

It’s encouraging to see how discussing my diagnosis has increased cancer awareness. It also shows the wonderful work of UK and global cancer patient and family support organizations. I value these groups’ daily labor and commitment more because of my experience.

While the king was being treated for an unknown cancer, his oldest son, Prince William, took on more royal duties. He comforted his wife Kate, who had been diagnosed with a disease in March 2024.

An insider claims that William is now involved in many major decisions alongside Charles. The king is back in public life, but he’s reportedly having some obstacles. The unidentified source said, “He’s showing up in public, but for shorter times.” He often takes helicopters to events. After each engagement, he really needs to get some decent rest.

Despite sounding bad, a source said they must plan the funeral quickly because Charles is sick. Friends are struggling to stay positive as the palace mood darkens, according to The Daily Beast.

The best friend says, “Definitely, he’s really focused on getting better and they’re doing everything they can to help him.” His illness is serious, but everyone is optimistic. Even more than they admit.

Like the 10-day plan for the queen’s death, the king’s Operation Menai Bridge plan is “regularly updated.”

Planning is underway to ensure a smooth power transfer, and each royal family member has a codeword they can use in an emergency.

Royal Operation Menai Bridge mentions Charles’s former title as Prince of Wales. This suspension bridge links Anglesey Island to Wales.

The Independent reports that code names were used before official announcements to prevent Buckingham Palace switchboard operators from spreading royal death news.
