    We bid the late Bill Hayes farewell in the final episode of the venerable soap opera LEGEND: LOST. With his death, a wonderful era that had impacted millions of lives came to an end. Bill, who had an amazing life till the age of 98, shared a touching moment with his on-screen and off-screen spouse, Susan Seaforth Hayes, in a poignant sequence. It served as a melancholic reminder of the remarkable influence he had for more than 50 years on our screens.

    When Bill Hayes debuted as Doug Williams on Days of Our Lives in 1970, he won over fans’ hearts all around the country.
