    Tammy Slaton is celebrating her most recent success in losing weight.

    The 1000-Lb. Sisters actress recently announced that she had lost 500 pounds overall since beginning her quest.

    In a TikTok video from August 17th, synchronized with Andra Day’s inspirational song “Rise Up,” Tammy reacts to a shot that displays her and six other “weight loss warriors” coming onto the screen. Each person’s weight loss is highlighted as they travel via on-screen letters. As they lifted each other up in unison and held hands, the friends can be seen in the video collectively losing 2,078 pounds.

    The 38-year-old captioned the video, saying, “Truly absolutely amazing ladies, and I’m happy to call y’all all my friends.” “I’m incredibly proud of all of you,” You have stunning external features in addition to your inner beauty. Never forget.

    In the TLC series 1000-Lb. Sisters, Tammy co-stars with her sister Amy Slaton Halterman. Since the show’s January 2020 premiere, Tammy has spoken up about her health struggles. Following a 14-month stay in a weight loss rehabilitation facility and bariatric surgery in July 2022, Tammy has continued to document her weight loss journey on TV and social media. As of December 2023, Tammy had lost 48 pounds.

    She talks about how losing the weight has helped her mental health in addition to her weight loss journey.

    In a February TikTok, she stated, “I was just bitter, unhappy, and very suicidal depressed before I went to rehab.” “I’ve personally noticed a lot of improvement in my demeanor toward others and my family. And simply my demeanor and my apparent happiness. I grin a lot more now.

    In addition to this progress, the reality star celebrated additional victories.
