Bob Saget’s widow Kelly Rizzo claps back at haters talking about her love life – “a very complex situation”

Tragically, Bob Saget passed away on January 9, 2022. His wife, Kelly Rizzo, felt his absence the most acutely, though thousands of people around the world lamented his loss.

Now that it’s been over two years since her husband passed away, Rizzo appears to be moving on with her life. When people didn’t appreciate that, she decided to clarify things. Read on to find out more.

After Bob Saget’s unexpected death in January 2022 at the age of 65, Kelly Rizzo was unexpectedly widowed more than two years ago. His Orlando, Florida, hotel room at the Ritz-Carlton was where his body was discovered. The medical examiner determined that he died from unintentional head trauma.

More over two years have passed since his passing, and Rizzo is back in the dating game. The challenge of dating following the death of a husband is something she is now discussing publicly. “Dating after losing your spouse” is the title of the video she uploaded in which she discusses this topic. I was so anxious about going forward—not forgetting to mention moving on—when I lost Bob two and a half years ago; it’s remarkable how divisive this topic is, she continues. Who knows what others may say? How do you suppose my loved ones will feel? Who will Bob’s family and friends find out? Who is going to believe this? It’s strange that I had to be concerned about it. Would Bob be of the opinion? Lastly, a widow isn’t exactly a desirable romantic partner. I despise that term.

She was accused of starting a relationship too soon after her husband’s death when Rizzo earlier revealed her relationship to Breckin Meyer. Two years after the death of her loving spouse, she stood up for herself and made it plain that she believed it was her right to pursue love.

So I’ve actually been very blessed to have all the support in the world from my family and friends, Bob’s family and friends,” she stated in the video as she continued to make a pesto sandwich. With the exception of a few critical remarks, the general public has been nothing but kind. I feel so lucky to have found someone who is so understanding, sympathetic, and kind. “This is the one person on Earth that Bob wouldn’t be that mad about,” the joke goes.

Back in February, Rizzo made it official that she was dating the Clueless actor. They started posting about each other on social media a few months later. Stop passing judgment on widows and help them get over it, she is now pleading with the world to do.

At least one thing is clear from the video: she makes it clear that there is zero tolerance for judgment. “The situation is really intricate. Numerous complex emotions. You can’t really fathom the experience unless you’ve been there yourself.

A person who has lost someone should know that there is more help available to them than they realize, she said simply as her video came to a close. Furthermore, the most important thing you can do for someone who has experienced loss and is currently attempting to find their path forward is to love, support, and be physically present for them.
