Angelina Jolie accuses Brad Pitt of trying to “bleed her dry” after shock physical abuse claims

Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt may have parted ways, but their legal battles continue to keep them entwined. Despite their physical separation, their lives remain intertwined through ongoing legal disputes, notably concerning the sale of a French winery they co-owned.

Recently, court documents submitted to the Los Angeles Superior Court revealed bombshell claims from Jolie. Among them was an allegation of physical abuse by Pitt prior to their highly publicized divorce, including an incident during a plane ride in 2016.

The legal saga intensified in 2022 when Pitt sued Jolie and her former company over the sale of her share of the winery, alleging a breach of agreement. Jolie retaliated, accusing Pitt of jeopardizing the business’s reputation and making false claims about the failure of the winery deal.

Fresh allegations surfaced in April 2024, with Jolie accusing Pitt of attempting to financially drain her. She claimed that Pitt’s lawsuit was part of his ongoing efforts to control and manipulate her, and she asserted that he was demanding a non-disclosure agreement to cover up his history of abuse.

Despite Jolie’s accusations, Pitt maintains his innocence. Sources close to him have dismissed her claims as part of a pattern of behavior aimed at deflecting attention from unfavorable decisions. They point to a previous custody trial where a judge awarded Pitt 50/50 custody after considering all evidence.

The ongoing legal drama between Jolie and Pitt underscores the complexities of their post-divorce relationship and the challenges they continue to face as they navigate the aftermath of their highly publicized split.
