In an interview with Z100’s Elvis Duran, who is a special correspondent for Entertainment Tonight, the singer discussed his new album and offered his thoughts on his ex-album.
With an enthusiastic confirmation that he like the songs, he stated, “I’ve heard a couple songs” from Gomez’s Revival. “In my opinion, she is absolutely brilliant.”
It is unclear if Bieber’s ex has heard his new music as he hasn’t spoken to her recently, according to Bieber. He wished her happiness with the purchase.
“What Do You Mean?”—the first track from Bieber’s very personal album Purpose—has already reached number one.
I could sing about what everyone else is singing about right now, or I could take a piece of myself and put it in this project,” Bieber remarked, explaining that he had two options. My next move was to ask myself, “Hey, what am I going through?” “What am I feeling?” and “I just ranted and gushed about everything that was real to me on this album.”
Sunday night at the American Music Awards, Bieber will sing a medley as the show’s finale. Gomez was the one who truly broke down on stage while performing “The Heart Wants What It Wants” at last year’s American Music Awards, though he has been visibly emotional during his previous appearances.
Even though they’re sitting in separate sections of the front row at this year’s event, the two ex-lovers will nonetheless encounter each other at the Los Angeles’s Microsoft Theater.
