Following his doctor’s advice, Jones postponed his scheduled performances in Los Angeles and San Diego.
The concerts were rescheduled for November 3 in San Diego and November 4 in Los Angeles, with tickets for the original dates remaining valid.
Jones expressed his regret over the disruption, thanked his audiences for their support, and reassured fans that he hoped to return to performing soon.
The postponements came during his Come Gather Round Tour, demonstrating that even after more than six decades in the music industry, the legendary performer remains passionate about entertaining audiences.
Subsequent reports revealed that Jones had also been treated for pneumonia. During his November 4 appearance in Los Angeles, he reportedly told the audience about the seriousness of his illness and his determination to return to the stage.
