Best known for his authentic, rugged performances, Clark appeared alongside Hollywood legends in classic Westerns including The Cowboys, Jeremiah Johnson, The Outlaw Josey Wales, and The Life and Times of Judge Roy Bean.
But many fans may not realize that he also played Chester the bartender in Back to the Future Part III (1990), appearing in the beloved time-travel franchise’s Wild West adventure.
His extensive television career included appearances in Bonanza, Little House on the Prairie, The Waltons, and Grace Under Fire.
Away from Hollywood, Clark preferred a quieter life, enjoying craftsmanship and hands-on building projects rather than chasing celebrity status.
Remembered by his family as an actor devoted to his craft rather than fame, Clark leaves behind decades of unforgettable performances.
