Sitting in the Parking Lot
For two weeks, I thought seriously about staying home. The idea of Greg getting one more chance to humiliate me in front of the team made the whole event feel like a trap I’d walked into willingly.

So I got out of the car. When I walked through the gates, Greg was near the main lockers with half the team gathered around him, and the moment he spotted me, his eyebrows shot up.
