    John Goodman, 74, looks unrecognizable after losing nearly 200 pounds and reveals what finally changed after years of yo-yo dieting

    John Goodman has amazed fans with one of Hollywood’s most remarkable long-term health transformations. Now 74, the beloved actor has maintained a weight loss of nearly 200 pounds, looking dramatically different from the man audiences came to know through classics like *The Big Lebowski*, *Roseanne*, and *Monsters, Inc.*

    At his heaviest, Goodman reportedly weighed around 392 pounds. Rather than relying on fad diets or rapid weight-loss programs, he gradually transformed his lifestyle through consistent, sustainable habits that have helped him keep the weight off for years.

    The actor has been candid about the struggles he faced before finding an approach that truly worked. After years of repeatedly losing weight only to regain it, Goodman realized he needed a permanent lifestyle change instead of another temporary solution.

    Speaking with *People*, he reflected on the cycle that had defined much of his adult life.
