A woman who attended high school with Taylor Swift claims that jealous fellow students at the same school hated her for penned songs about local guys. Jessica McLane, now 30, claims that Taylor attended Hendersonville High School with Swift for less than a year in 2006, before leaving to become homeschooled after her music career took off.
A former classmate of Taylor Swift’s has spoken up about the ‘hated’ and ‘jealous’ treatment of the singer during their time together in school.
After spending 2.5 years as a student at Hendersonville High School, Taylor (the one in the yearbook) decided to leave when her career took off and pursue homeschooling instead.

While Jessica never had many conversations with Taylor before she became famous, she has now spilled the beans about her personality, saying that other classmates called her “b***hy” and that she was a reclusive person.
Taylor Swift, who grew up in the same town as Swift, shared her upbringing and the negative rumors she faced in high school. She was signed to Big Machine Records by music mogul Scott Borchetta in 2005. Swift’s debut album, Taylor Swift, reached number five on the US Billboard 200 and stayed on the chart for over 150 weeks.
A few others accused Jessica of exaggerating her relationship to the famous singer. In response, Jessica showed a photo of Taylor from her yearbook.

Jessica, a TikTok user, shared a story about Taylor Swift inviting her senior class to the Country Music Association Awards in 2009, where she performed her hit song Fifteen and won four awards. She believes Taylor invited her classmates to show them how far she had come.
Jessica shared a glimpse of her yearbook, featuring a photo of Taylor. Other TikTokers have also spoken out about Taylor’s connections, including a song they wrote together.
He mentioned frequenting her house, having numerous stories, and collaborating on a song in geometry class.
