At Kanye West’s Paris Fashion Week event on Monday, Kim Kardashian, 39, arrived in a taupe Yeezy jacket over a plunging beige crop top, loose high-waisted grey pants, and strappy nude heels.
Her long braided plaits of hair caught the attention of many people. Kim, who has previously faced criticism for wearing braids, received the same furious reaction from online commenters.
She was accused of copying black culture once more, but in response, she shared a photo of a model with the same hairdo. According to her, Kanye specially styled her for the show.
As a result, she may not have received the support she was hoping for. As one person observed, “Just because your daughter is mixed-race and your husband is black doesn’t mean you are.”
“You are not black this s**t is so racist,” another person remarked. PLEASE pay attention to what Black people tell you about cultural appropriation and why it’s not acceptable. Because of the way their hair is styled, black people are subject to legal discrimination, but you get to wear it for fun. Do you realize the privilege of this situation?
Additionally, they state:
“How does she manage to keep getting away with it?”
Never again!”
“YOU AREN’T BLACK,”
“Bruh, why do you do this so often? You would assume she would pick up on it. Wear a high ponytail and attend the fashion show with the rest of the crowd.
She’s white and has braids down our backs, oh my God!”
“No, no, no, not the braids again.”
“Season 67 of cultural appropriation.”
“I genuinely believe that @KimKardashian and her team are doing this on purpose to promote their brand; controversy does sell.”
However, some of her supporters defended her, and many of them praised her new appearance.

To wear braids, you don’t have to be black.
I adore the braids.
Come on, it’s 2020, anybody may wear braids.
“At what point did some of y’all decide that white people can’t braid their hair?”
Representatives of Kim have not yet responded to the criticism.
Kim received criticism in 2018 for sporting braids that she referred to as “Bo Derek” braids.
She at the time uploaded several explicit pictures to Instagram along with the message, “Hi, can I get zero f***s please, thanks.”
The response was brought on by her blonde locks, dressing gown, and socks.
