Hart took to Facebook to share the heartbreaking news, expressing her deep sorrow over the loss of Carlson. She wrote, “I’m absolutely devastated to report that we lost Jeffrey Carlson on July 6. Goodbye, my sweet, sweet prince among men. Words cannot express our despair at losing you, Jeffrey. You were so loved and adored… For those unaware, I’m very sorry to relay the news that Jeffrey passed away yesterday. Out of respect for his family’s privacy, I refrained from sharing the news sooner. The shock has left me breathless and unable to function. I’m just devastated…”
At this time, the cause of Carlson’s death remains undisclosed.

The actor’s sister, Elizabeth Carlson Gingras, also issued a heartfelt statement emphasizing her brother’s profound influence on many lives. She said, “My handsome, brilliant, extremely talented brother Jeffrey Carlson is now with our brother Gregory Carlson in heaven. I can’t comprehend why this happened. But what I do know is that I’ll forever treasure our laughter and our deep love for each other. His impact on so many people was so profound; it’s difficult to articulate how special he was. I have a lot to say, but my heart isn’t well enough to express the homage he deserves. I love you dearly, my beautiful brother.”
Jeffrey Carlson: A Life in Theatre and Television
Born on June 23, 1975, Carlson was a graduate of the prestigious Juilliard School. He embarked on his Broadway career with the 2003 production of Edward Albee’s “The Goat or Who Is Sylvia”. He further garnered fame with his role alongside Hilary Swank in “The Miracle Worker”. From 2003 to 2004, he graced the stage as Marilyn in the theatrical production of “Taboo”.
In addition to his successful theater career, Carlson also made notable appearances on the silver screen. His film credits include the 2005 blockbuster “Hitch,” starring Will Smith and Eva Mendes, and the 2007 film “The Killing Floor.”
