Unearthing Treasures: The Extraordinary Discovery of Diane Keaton’s Lost Wallet
The Adventurous Profession of Treasure Hunting
Treasure hunting, for some a pastime, for others a full-fledged profession, involves a thrilling journey into the unknown.
Treasure hunters delve into unclaimed goods in storage units, scour basements, garages, and homes, in search of hidden gems. The thrill of the unknown beckons them, as they never truly know what they might stumble upon. Sometimes, they might end up empty-handed, but other times, they discover valuable relics.
Anton Lulgjuraj: A Treasure Hunter’s Tale
Anton Lulgjuraj, a New Yorker, embarked on his treasure hunting journey years ago, purchasing old storage units. He has never come across anything revolutionary, but once found a wallet that merited a newspaper story.

During one such hunt, Anton bought a storage unit that contained the belongings of an Air Force pilot. Among the pile of possessions, a small locker piqued his interest. Upon opening it, he found an old, worn-out wallet.
The Mysterious Wallet
The wallet, a relic from the past, belonged to a woman named Diane Hall. It contained a late 1960s California driver’s license, an actor’s equity card, and several old photographs. Intrigued, Anton decided to delve deeper, intending to find the wallet’s owner.
As he searched the Internet, a surprising revelation unfolded. Diane Hall was none other than the renowned actress Diane Keaton.

Hoping she’d want her old wallet back, Anton reached out to her but received no immediate response. However, once the media picked up his story, things began to change.
“I think anybody always hopes that like if they lose a wallet, there’s a hope that, you know, one day you’ll get your wallet back,” Anton mused. “And you know, so like, this is great.”
A Happy Reunion
Reading the story in the New York Daily News, Diane Keaton expressed her delight at Anton’s discovery via an Instagram post.
“SOMEONE FOUND A WALLET I LOST 50 YEARS AGO! THANK YOU, MR. LULGJURAJ!,” she wrote excitedly.
“PLEASE DM ME! THIS PHOTO WAS IN IT, I’M ON THE FAR RIGHT, CAN YOU BELIEVE THOSE BANGS?!”
The discovery of Diane Keaton’s wallet serves as a testament to the thrilling unpredictability of treasure hunting and the joy of serendipitous finds.
We’re delighted that the star of “Something’s Gotta Give” acknowledged Anton’s intriguing find.
