Tucker Carlson to Join OAN After Fox News Split
A New Opportunity Emerges
Tucker Carlson and Fox News ended their relationship on Monday morning following a lawsuit settlement that involved the network spreading damaging falsehoods about the popular host.
Shortly after, Carlson reached a verbal agreement with OAN to become its new News Director, which includes a one-hour primetime slot.
“I’m pleased to represent my fans once again on a network that still has some integrity,” said Carlson.
Gratitude and Future Plans
Carlson thanked fellow hosts Sean Hannity and Laura Ingraham for their support before Fox’s betrayal.
Although he will continue to receive a paycheck from Fox for two more years and is unable to sign with another network during that time, Carlson plans to helm the OAN ship as soon as the agreement expires.
“As soon as that’s over, I’ll start captaining the OAN ship.”
Anticipation and Legal Action
While patriots eagerly await Carlson’s debut on OAN, he may potentially file a lawsuit seeking substantial compensation. The news of Carlson’s departure led to a 4-point drop in Fox’s stock.
