Actress Ruth Bazzi’s partner recently revealed she is bedridden and emaciated after suff-ering multiple strokes.
The 86-year-old actress and comedian is best known for her role as Gladys Ormphey on the television series Rowan & Martin’s Laugh-In.
Buzzy earned two Primetime Emmy nominations in 1969 and 1972 and a Golden Globe for Best Supporting Actress in 1973. Her husband, Kent Perkins, shared a heartbreɑking update on her well-being in a post on his wife’s Facebook page. Kent also shared a photo of Bazi from her birthday party last year, where she was seen happily holding a piece of cake.
Kent wrote on Buzzy’s official Facebook page. He wrote that the actress wants her fans to know that she is not in ɑgony and that she is aware that fans are sending her their best wishes as she struggIes with the effects of the harrowing blows that left her bedridden.
Kent described that she still has the ability to speak and can still identify all of her friends and loved ones. He further added that he lives with an attitude of gratitude for 43 years of marriage to his best friend and the greatest person he has ever met. He then wrote that Buzzy’s love for others knew no bounds and that she spent an entire era making people smile. Kent ended the post by praising his wife for being brave and still dealing with the situation with humor.
Several fans commented on Ruth’s recovery announcement, thanking her for bringing happiness into their lives with her on-air presence.
